The 11th "Egret Star" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (Xiamen Division of the 14th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition) was successfully held at the Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center from September 25 to 26, 2025. Under the theme of "Gathering for Innovation, Moving Forward Together," the event was jointly organized by the Xiamen Science and Technology Bureau, the Xiamen Industrial and Information Technology Bureau, and other relevant units, attracting 438 enterprises from the city to participate.
As the highest-level and most extensive innovation and entrepreneurship competition in Xiamen, this year's event focused on seven strategic emerging industries: next-generation information technology, biomedicine, energy conservation and environmental protection, high-end equipment manufacturing, new materials, new energy, and new energy vehicles. After fierce competition, 20 outstanding enterprises advanced to the final round. Among them, only three third-place awards were set for the startup group, making the honor highly prestigious.
